Los Angeles, CA. – Reverend Goddess, Good Fridae has unleashed her hauntingly herstoric “Follow Through” music video! Along with being a multi hyphenated talent, Good Fridae is a gifted psychic medium. She began to receive memories of her past life as Marilyn Monroe in 2020, she thought she was losing it. As she remembered more and more of her life then, it was obvious to Reverend Good Fridae, that this was part of her supernatural gifts and the Universe was advising her to explore her past life further or was it her tortured past persona calling to her? In an attempt to alleviate some of her super empath anxiety, it has since been Good Fridae’s mission to free her soul and give peace to who she once was.
The historic “Follow Through” music video was filmed at Pierce Brothers Memorial Gardens in Westwood at her crypt and Santa Monica Beach right by the famous pier. Follow Through is making history as the video a first of its kind, unlike the sadistic fanfiction recently released on a streaming platform of a fictional Monroe. This music video featuring her past self Marilyn Monroe and her incarnation as Good Fridae now is who she is and was an incredible talented Goddess. Not only is Marilyn Monroe featured in the video,Natalie Wood Wagner was a special addition, spiritual justice for both murdered icons.
Filming the video for “Follow Through”, gave Good Fridae that peace her soul needed…Specifically, when she threw something monumental of Marilyn’s, into the ocean at the end of the video. The inspiration comes from the iconic “Oops I Did It Again” music video by the one and only iconic, Britney Spears.
Good Fridae says, “People are so obsessed with my old face, this has caused me extreme anxiety in this life. It’s time to let my old persona rest, she’s been through enough. I took back all my energy completely.”.
The Goddess writes and co-produces her music, she edited the videos for them too! “Nobody can deliver what vision is in my head but me.” - Good Fridae. Contrasting the campy love song Anyone (I Choose You), the new single “Follow Through” is an anthem for all who have been in any type of abusive relationship. The focus of the video is a story we all have experienced at one point or another, in our quest to find real love with the freedom to be our authentic selves. Good Fridae is known for her media and music expertise, as a long time Journalist for various magazines, started her own media empire while in school for radio, fridaetv.ca and Pickme.press began on YouTube, where she filmed artists and bands when she worked as A&R, for major labels.
This summer, Good Fridae filmed and directed her first public short film, titled “Just Released”. Pickme.Press and fridaetv.ca will have an exclusive interview with the cast after the films release. Good Fridae has many skills under her belt, she edited and scored the film herself in addition to writing, directing and acting in it. The short film is based on true events. She re-wrote her script to fit a new location, in three hours after some production and casting issues. She acted in the film last minute, with the help of her in house production assistants, Assistant Director/Cinematographer Jason Dixon of UltrArtProjects, Good Fridae was able to pull off plan B and completed her short film project.
The actors that made the cut, are up and coming sensations: Tanissia Sprull as Lead: Selini, Good Fridae, is supporting as Marilyn and Johnny Vallone, is the antagonist, Pedro. The movie was filmed at Hollywood Forever and last minute had to move to the familiar location used in her music video for Follow Through. Ironically Marilyn was once again in her project as Marilyn! The synchronicities are incredible! The short is produced by Mattas Entertainment Group, company is run and founded by Good Fridae, the film is slated to be released October 25th on digital platforms and Good Fridae’s various websites.
Up and coming Canadian photographer, Christal Bodie, was assisting and shooting behind the scenes on all summer projects. Chosen director, Dom T. of Ocean Ave Recordings, filmed and directed both music videos in and around various locations in Los Angeles, California.
She is also responsible for inventing and coining the terms “Karen” and “Susan” in 2002, with new 2020 additions “Pick Me” and “Gremlin”. She always knows what the next big thing or trend is, she sets the trends but never follows them. As a teen she interned at Toronto’s music capital, Much Music helping to shape the musical landscape of the 90’s, before working as an A&R scout between being in girl groups and on movie sets, it’s no surprise her music is futuristic with a retro 90’s Pop/R&B vibe! Good Fridae is now shaping the future of music, with her own voice.
