Last years RFE sounded like so much fun and I was hoping to make it out to this year's festivities. However, Asia and Europe keep calling my name, I always follow wherever the universe leads me. Hopefully next year, the universe will lead me to Riverfest Elora 2019! Thank you to Spencer for always looking out! Not so long until 2019, but no rushing, enjoy Joanna's beautiful visuals as you read her short but sweet review!

Riverfest Elora celebrated it’s 10th anniversary this past weekend. The festival seemed to have some of the highest numbers of attendance with guests ranging from a few months old ot 75+. The 3-day festival, which takes place an hour north of Guelph, ON, two hours from the city, is truly a unique experience, offering camping, swimming in the Elora Gorge and listening to amazing bands all weekend long.
This year, the festival had some incredible performers including Cleopatrick, Ellevator, The Sorority, Weaves, Dear Rouge, Rich Aucoin, The Flatliners, The Beaches, Carly Rae Jepsen, Sam Coffey and the Iron Lungs and headlining; July Talk, The Flaming Lips and Blue Rodeo, just to name a few. They also seemed to make a conscious effort to have strong female performers including Carole Pope, The Creepshow, Caveboy, Les Deuxluxes, Land of Talk and many more.
Although the outdoor music festival ended 11pm, the party continued at various venues including the Elora Legion, Shepherd’s Pub and Elora Brewing Co with killer bands like Grand Analog, Future Peers, My Son The Hurricane and The Boo Radley Project. We definitely cannot wait until next year and you can secure your spots buy grabbing some passes for 2019 HERE! (Only a limited number of tickets available).
